MYCO

Description

The MYCO Table Lamp is a sculptural expression of nature-inspired design, where organic forms, delicate textures, and architectural lines come together in harmony. Inspired by the natural silhouette of woodland mushrooms, MYCO takes its name from the Greek root Mykes, meaning “mushroom,” reflecting the design’s deep connection to the natural world.

Its broad, gently curved shade echoes the protective cap of a mushroom, resting gracefully above a cylindrical base. The soft, flowing contours of the shade contrast with the geometric simplicity of the base, creating a balanced composition that feels both sculptural and serene.

In MYCO, texture is more than a decorative detail. Fine, continuous vertical grooves across the shade create a rhythmic pattern reminiscent of repeating structures found in nature. These delicate ribs interact with light and shadow, giving the lamp a rich, three-dimensional character even when switched off.

When illuminated, MYCO reveals a gentle interplay of light, texture, and curvature, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Combining thoughtful precision, organic inspiration, and minimalist elegance, MYCO transforms everyday lighting into a distinctive decorative statement.

Aesthetic Experience

MYCO is designed to bring a sense of tranquility, balance, and connection to nature into contemporary living spaces.

By day, its mushroom-inspired silhouette, soft curves, and finely ribbed surface create a sculptural presence. The combination of a light-colored shade and a warm, natural-toned base gives the lamp a refined yet welcoming character, complementing materials such as wood, stone, and natural textiles.

By night, MYCO introduces a gentle, atmospheric glow, transforming its surroundings into a cozy and peaceful retreat.

Its harmonious proportions, organic form, and neutral palette make it a natural fit for Japandi, Scandinavian, minimalist, and contemporary interiors.

Styling Tip

The MYCO Table Lamp is a thoughtful addition to a bedside table, contemporary sideboard, minimalist desk, or cozy reading corner.

To emphasize its organic character, pair MYCO with light wood, linen textiles, handcrafted ceramics, and neutral tones. These natural materials complement its mushroom-inspired silhouette and reinforce its connection to nature.

For a more contemporary setting, position MYCO against darker surfaces or furniture with clean architectural lines. The contrast allows its curved shade and delicate ribbed texture to become a striking focal point.

MYCO is more than a table lamp. It is a harmonious fusion of nature, light, and design, bringing the quiet beauty of organic forms into everyday living.
